The large athletic brand Under Armour have teamed up with Johnson to create the Under Armour Sport Wireless Train Headphones – Project Rock Edition. They’re over-the-ear headphones as part of his existing 11.11.11 collection that launched on Veterans’ Day. The green camouflage ties back to the collection and the bull logo on each side recalls people to Johnson’s iconic tattoo.
These Under Armour headphones aren’t just a trendy new tech toy, though. The audio technology of JBL Charged Sound is made specifically for bass heavy music that’s often used during any sort of physical activity. You also don’t need any sort of app for its Bluetooth; you can just sync it to whatever music device or smartphone you have on hand. But there’s also an audio jack and cable for the headphones if that’s your preference. The Brahma Bull logo can adjust the volume as needed. Finally, the battery can last up to 16 hours and takes as little as five minutes to charge.
Johnson has been more than a little vocal about the headphones in question. He reportedly was involved in the process of making them, working with both JBL and Under Armour to get the exact product he was looking for. He’s promoted the product heavily on his Instagram, and even went so far as to bring a prototype of the headphones on a trip to China. The trip- which happened during the actor’s press tour for his movie Rampage– showed Johnson pairing the headphones with chains as if comparing toughness. Needless to say, his headphones are tough in more ways than one!
