The Galaxy M20 is powered by an octa-core 14nm Exynos 7904 (4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) welded to a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M20 in the Indian market in January this year. The Galaxy M20 will now go on sale in the Indian today with a price drop. The smartphone will be available on Amazon and Samsung Online Store. Another interesting point to note for the buyers is that Samsung is also providing an Rs. 1,000 discount which will be available for a limited price only.
The Galaxy M20 is powered by an octa-core 14nm Exynos 7904 (4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) welded to a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The chipset has been manufactured by Samsung themselves. The M20 will be sold in the market in two RAM variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. The Galaxy M20 gets a dual-lens setup mounted at the rear panel and single lens setup for selfies housed in the notch display. The dual-shooter is a 13-megapixel primary unit with a 5-megapixel additional sensor for depth control.
The selfie camera 5-megapixel unit gets f/2.0 aperture value with a depth sensor. The rear camera sensor gets f/1.9 and f/2.2 aperture sizes. The rear camera setup also sports LED flash, panorama, and HDR capabilities. For video shooting capabilities, the M20’s camera can shoot full HD videos at 30fps, while the selfies camera can shoot full HD videos at 30fps as well.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 gets the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Samsung’s Experience UI 9.5 on top. The M20, according to previous leaks and rumours, is slated to get the Android 9.0 Oreo update in August this year, which Samsung will roll out alongside its latest One UI. The M20 retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and gets a loudspeaker grille placed at the bottom part of the frame. The Galaxy M20, like the Galaxy M10’s headphone port, also gets active noise cancellation with dedicated mic support.
The M20 sports a dual-SIM card layout. It also features Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity – A2DP and LE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, and hotspot features, A-GPS with GLONASS, FM Radio, and USB Type-C with Fast Charging support. The M20 also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The M20 will be available in two colours – Ocean Blue and Charcoal Black.
