Samsung Galaxy M30s renders leak revealing triple cameras, new gradient colour

Samsung Galaxy M30s

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy M30s in India soon. Like the Galaxy A10s, A30s and A50s that have already gone official, the upcoming Galaxy M30s will also be an improved version of its original counterpart, the M30. The Galaxy M30s may launch in India some time in September touting triple rear cameras and a new gradient colour option that have now been revealed through some new leaked renders.

91mobiles got hold of some official renders of the Galaxy M30s courtesy industry sources. The renders show the back of the M30s, revealing some key details such as its vertical triple camera setup with LED flash and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. We also see the power button and volume keys on the right side of the frame and the rear panel being curved around the edges.

We can’t confirm whether Samsung will be using a Gorilla Glass panel or a glasstic cover on the back of the Galaxy M30s. What we can see is a brand new gradient colour option that sees a mix of blue and green hues. To recall, the Galaxy M30 was launched in black and dark blue gradient options so the new aqua-like colour certainly looks different and refreshing, at least going by the renders.

The triple camera setup on the Galaxy M30s is expected to see an upgrade over the M30. The M30s is tipped to launch with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, but it isn’t clear if Samsung is going with a Sony IMX586 sensor or its own 48MP GM1 sensor. The other two cameras in the system is expected to include a wide-angle lens and depth sensor, but their exact sensor details are currently unknown.

Samsung Galaxy M30s may also pack a massive 6,000mAh battery. A teaser was spotted earlier this week suggesting a 6,000mAh battery coming to the M-series, although it’s unclear whether it will be offered on the Galaxy M20s or M30s or both. Other rumoured specifications of the Galaxy M30s may include a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U display and an Exynos 9610 SoC under the hood. The M30s is tipped to come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and should ship with One UI based on Android 9 Pie.

The leaked Galaxy M30s render not only shows us what the design of the phone looks like, but it also suggests its launch in India is imminent. As for the pricing, the Galaxy M30s could launch somewhere between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 like the Galaxy M30.
