As per news coming out of Korea, Samsung is sticking to the timelines it set last year with the launch of the Galaxy Note 9. The new phone is expected to come with a host of new features.
For a few weeks now, leaks and rumours have picked up pace about the release of upcoming Galaxy Note 10 smartphone(s) from Samsung. With 2019 being an important year for the South Korean tech giant, the company is expected to go big with the flagship Note device and bring to the table new features and refined design.
Previously we’ve had some information about the design and internals of the Note 10, however, now a latest report has emerged claiming that the Galaxy Note could be announced to the world as soon as August 10. As per news coming out of Korea, Samsung is sticking to the timelines it set last year and will launch the device a day later than last year.
However, unlike last year, there will be a twist in the tale as Samsung will launch two phones under the Galaxy Note series – the basic Note10, and a Pro variant of the device which is expected to be more expensive and come with advanced features and even better hardware than the vanilla Note 10.
As per recently leaked renders, the Note10 and the Note10 Pro could bring similar designs, but the Pro model is expected to get a slightly larger screen and come with an extra camera on the back. The leaked renders also suggest that Samsung plans to ditch the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the Galaxy Note series, as well as the dedicated Bixby button.
The selfie camera is expected to be positioned at the centre and not on the right side as found on the Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy Note 10 is also tipped to arrive with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. The panel could be a Dynamic AMOLED one with HDR10+ support and sport 1440 x 3040 resolution.
Moving to the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 gets a new glass panel and a triple camera module. The size of this display is being rumoured to go up to 6.6-inch and the battery inside the phone to be a massive 4500mAh one. As for the SoC, the phone is expected to be Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC.
