Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 may launch alongside Galaxy Note 10 in August

Samsung is slated to launch a new flagship smartphone and a new flagship tablet later this year. These will likely be called the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Tab S5 and they could launch side-by-side in August, which is when Samsung typically announces its new Note. There have been a lot of talk about the Galaxy Note 10 series, and details have now started pouring in about the Galaxy Tab S5.

The biggest information to come out of the rumours mill is that the Galaxy Tab S5 will rock a Snapdragon 855 chipset. This will be paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. This would be a logical move considering the Snapdragon 855 is the flagship processor for 2019. To recall, the Galaxy Tab S4 was launched last year running a 2017 Snapdragon 835 chipset.

A report by GalaxyClub also adds that the Galaxy Tab S5 will continue to support a stylus much like the Tab S4 and the Tab S3 before. The Galaxy Tab S5 is also expected to cost roughly around EUR 699 (approx Rs 54,700). You can also expect the Galaxy Tab S5 to launch in India alongside the Galaxy Note 10 series.

Meanwhile, Samsung is widely expected to launch two models under the Galaxy Note 10 series. This is said to include the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro. Design wise, the two phones will look identical with a central punch-hole display and vertical camera setup on the back.

The Galaxy Note 10 will be smaller with a 6.28-inch display, while the Galaxy Note 10 Pro will offer a 6.75-inch screen. The Pro model is also said to come with 5G support and an upgraded Exynos 9825 SoC, none of which have been confirmed yet. According to a recent report by ETNews, the Galaxy Note 10 launch will take place on August 10.
